Music Lab: Ukulele

This six-week program is designed to teach the basics of how to play a ukulele for kids ages 7 -9. We will learn songs, play musical games, and explore storytelling through song. Ukuleles provided.

• Child must be in attendance at the first session to secure spot. If they can’t attend all of the sessions, that’s okay! Please make best efforts to attend, and please try not to miss more than one or two sessions.
• The first class (April 10), we will be checking out ukuleles for participants to take home.
• The last class (May 15) will culminate in a performance at the library for parents, friends and members of the community. Ukuleles are provided for the duration of the program. No prior music experience necessary.
• This series is for TML patrons only.
• Caregivers must be present in the library during the duration of the program.

*Registrants will be able to check out ukuleles to take home. Please use the child participant’s library card or the parent/guardian’s library card, if possible.
