Celebrate Earth Week at CMTM During Spring Vacation!
This April Spring Vacation Week, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine is celebrating Earth Week with a variety of engaging indoor and outdoor educational activities!
In honor of Earth Day, join us in celebrating the lands and waters we call home while exploring the importance of protecting and preserving our ecosystems. Enjoy a diverse lineup of activities throughout the week, including:
🌿 Pop-Up Performances
♻️ MakerSpace sessions featuring recycled materials
🌊 Learning about real ocean and freshwater creatures from Maine’s watershed
🏞️ Exploring Earth Week-themed exhibits, including:
– From the Mountains to the Sea (closed Tuesday, April 22)
– Outdoor Adventure Playground
– Ckuwaponahkiyik Atkuhkakonol: Wabanaki Storytelling Through Art and Traditions
– MakerSpace
Check the daily specials chalkboard when you arrive for a full menu of activities. Each day offers a unique mix of experiences, all included with admission!
Special Hours:
🦕 April 19 & 20: Open to the public at 11 am after the DINO Egg Hunts
