Join us for an experiential class on mindfulness. Mindfulness teacher, Heidi Whelan, will guide us through several mindfulness practices such as: meditation, body scan, and walking meditation. Information will be presented on how the brain perceives stress and how mindfulness can interrupt the fight and flight responses that keep us in a reactive state.
