Afternoon Art is a one-hour opportunity for in-depth creation. Each week, we will meet at the studio table to learn about a different artist or maker and experiment with the mediums or styles they are known for. This week, we’ll focus on the work of contemporary artist Kehinde Wiley. Known for floral, vibrant portraits celebrating Black and Brown identity, we will use rich colors to create a portrait in the spirit of Wiley.
Free choice materials will also be available during this session.
