We are The Masterstroke Queen Experience. We bring the amazing songs of Queen to life on the stage, with a tip of the cap to the style, bombast and essence of Queen’s live shows.
Led on lead vocals by lifelong self professed “Queen Freak” Sean Slaughter (finalist in the 2011 Roger Taylor/ Brian May officially Queen sanctioned Queen Extravaganza Contest), the MQE is nine members strong of exceptionally experienced and talented musicians and performers. We formed in 2015 and are getting ready to celebrate our 10th year as a band. We know upwards of SIXTY-FIVE Queen songs! We aim to replicate the complex album arrangements and layers that Queen produced so spectacularly well, while still having fun and doing some mash ups with live versions.

Slaughter is the consummate front man and band leader. He is the man for the job with vocal chops, flair, humility, humor and again, a deep admiration and respect for those who share the stage with him.
