It’s time to kick off summer at PML! Gather with us on the back lawn of the library. We’ll have lawn games, sno cones, popcorn, face painting, and a pop-up book sale with the Friends of Prince Memorial Library. Kids get reading raffle tickets and a lanyard to hold them in, and a free book when they sign up for Summer Reading.
We’ll also have live music and strolling circus entertainment!
The irresistible Ragtime Destroyers bring fun and danceable New Orleans-inspired jazz music from the 20’s and 30’s to the streets of Portland and beyond! Melodic trumpet, growling trombone and swooping clarinet are backed up by the rattle of washboard and banjo. Sometimes silly but always swinging, the Ragtime Destroyers play jazz music for the feet and jug band music with a pedigree!
Variety artist Andrew Silver is a multi-talented professional variety entertainer who fuses magic, juggling, and physical comedy into his thought-provoking acts. He will be wandering the Shindig ready to amaze and entertain!
This event is rain or shine. Join us!
