Art Club Downtown (Registration Required)

Join our Art Club in the Children’s Library at the Downtown Branch! Every other Tuesday afternoon this summer we will offer a different art activity. Crafts are designed for children ages 5-12, but younger children may be able to participate with adult assistance. Registration is requested by not required. Weekly activities are listed below:

• June 17: Perler Beads
  • Make Minecraft or Mario characters or design something completely new!
• July 1: Painted Planters
  • Paint a flower pot and plant some milkweed to attract butterfly friends.
• July 15: Marble Mazes
  • Can you create a maze to guide your marble through?
• July 29: Friendship Bracelets
  • Use string, beads, and pipe cleaners to craft a variety of bracelet types
• August 12: Open Creativity
  • We will bring out our art materials. Make whatever you want!
