Blooming in the Mud: A Mindfulness Series

POSTED BY
Leah Ingram

Reclaim your attention, cultivate compassion and develop resources for navigating challenging times: all are welcome to sign up for our 4-week mindfulness series Blooming in the Mud. Whether you have prior meditation experience or none at all, there is a place for you to settle in this series.

This series offers insights and instruction into mindfulness meditation and self-compassion practices. These classes will blend a balance of instruction, guided practice, conversation and quiet reflection. The first three classes will focus on developing mindfulness and self-compassion while attending to the habits of our mind, heart and body. The final class will integrate these skills and provide tools to help support a budding or sustained home practice.

**Registration is required (see below) and we kindly ask that you commit to attend all four classes for the best experience.**

This program is free and open to the public and will take place in the FCL Meeting Room.

Ananda Kaymen is a mindfulness practitioner trained in trauma-sensitive mindfulness. She holds an MA in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Cultural Anthropology. She is deeply informed by her work in the fields of social justice and somatic psychology along with years of classroom teaching. She has been supporting and working with groups and individuals in a variety of settings for over three decades. For more information about her practice, visit oneredpine.com.
