Cybersecurity Awareness for NH Residents

POSTED BY
Leah Ingram
Registration for this event will close on April 22, 2025 @ 5:30pm.

Program Description

Details

Savvy computer criminals make it their job to exploit vulnerabilities to steal information and money from everyday people. These tactics can disrupt, destroy, or threaten your financial security and privacy. This type of threat creates havoc in many people’s lives and exposes people to things like identity theft and financial loss.  Defending yourself against these types of attacks is critical in today’s world.

Stopping or mitigating the spread of an attack as quickly as possible helps you protect yourself, and reduces the power held by these cyber threat actors.

Join us for a free training session tailored for the public to educate individuals about cybercrimes and fraud targeting New Hampshire residents. Attendees will learn how to recognize, avoid, and respond to cyber threats, ensuring a safer and more confident digital experience.

Registration is requested but not required.

About the Trainers
The New Hampshire Municipal Cyber Defense Program (MCDP), managed by The ATOM Group, is a key initiative for enhancing New Hampshire’s Cybersecurity Defense Services. Funded by the NH Department of Information
Technology and the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program, it aims to protect public trust in technology by providing comprehensive Cybersecurity training. The MCDP is critical to New Hampshire as it enhances cybersecurity readiness across municipal and public sector entities.
