Join Cumberland County Master Gardener Volunteer and member of the Pollinator-Friendly Garden Certification Program, Nancy Donovan, as she discusses local pollinators and how to create a garden to support them. Nancy will explore which pollinators you might find in your yard, what you can do–and avoid–to best support their ecosystems, which native plants help our pollinators to thrive, and other topics. Following Nancy’s presentation, librarian Sally Bannen will showcase the library’s circulating Observing Pollinators kit from the National Library of Medicine. There will be plenty of time for questions for both speakers. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn more about pollinator gardens and the pollinators that use them!
