Join us for an experiential class on mindfulness. Mindfulness teacher, Heidi Whelan, will guide us through several mindfulness practices such as: awareness of breath and body meditation, body scan, and walking meditation. Information will be presented on how the brain perceives stress and how mindfulness can interrupt the fight and flight responses that keeps us in a reactive state. Group discussion time is built into the program so we can all share our experience with the practices. Limited to 12 participants; registration required.
