Will you peas join us for a story and a craft? Maine author Kalee Gwarjanski will read and lead a colorful art project using veggies, inspired by her recent book “Miss MacDonald Has a Farm” on Tuesday, April 29 at 3:45 p.m.
Published by Random House, the book is a rollicking, rhyming read-aloud that celebrates themes of healthy eating, plant-based meals, local produce, gardening, seasons, and female farmers all ending in a community harvest feast! Signed books will be available for sale courtesy of Kelly’s Books to Go.
This event is for kids ages 4 – 8. It is free and open to the public. For questions or directions to the library, visit www.freeportlibrary.com, call 865-3307, or stop by the library at 10 Library Drive, Freeport ME 04032.
