This Safari Highlights Armchair Travel program is presented in two parts – feel free to attend one or both!

In Swahili, “safari” means “journey” or “travel.” Come travel with Suanne Williams-Lindgren as she ‘safari’s through the Eastern African countries of Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania to meet some amazing locals and experience the countries’ cultures and wildlife.

Part 1. Rwanda and Kenya. We’ll look at the rebirth of Rwanda after the devastating 1994 genocide and hike into the mountains to visit Dian Fossey’s gorillas. In Kenya, we will spend some time with the Maasai people to witness their evolving traditions. And we’ll take a look at some incredible wildlife!
