Vinegar Hill Music Theatre is a music, comedy, film and lecture venue that is located in a late-1800s barn, with an exposed wooden structure. When you arrive, you enter through a garden gate into a courtyard complete with an outdoor bar and casual seating. The rustic elegance is quintessential New England. The acts range from cover bands, to well-known folk artists, to established local comedians.
The venue itself can be configured to suit virtually any event, including general-admissions standing. So be sure to check the arrangement before you purchase your tickets. For seated events, if seats at the four bar-height rounds at the back are available, scoop them up. They offer a great view without needing to sit in traditional theater seating.
Free Sunday Concerts
Each week Vinegar hill hosts Sunday Chill free outdoor music concerts. Weather permitting, this series series happens every Sunday between June 23rd and September 8th from 1pm – 5pm. This all-ages, outdoor community gathering features talented local musicians, makers, food trucks, and drink specials!
Vinegar Hill is located off I-95 in Arundel, ME (close to Biddeford, Kennebunkport, Portland, and Portsmouth). Hop off the highway at exit 25. It is just off route one, if you prefer local roads. The listed start times for the events are the show start time. Doors typically open an hour before and up to two hours early when there are food trucks.
