Gray Public Library is pleased to be hosting an ongoing series of Library Skills Classes for our local homeschool families! This programming for students in grades K-8*:

Helps students get familiar and comfortable with the library

Introduce library rules and procedures

Explains the wide array of resources available at the library

Reviews physical parts of a book and proper book care
-
Teaches students to identify parts of a story
-
Demonstrates basic research methods
Students who attend our Library Skills Classes are grouped by age/grade and given developmentally appropriate instruction and activities. Library Skills Classes are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 2:00pm. No registration is necessary, and all are welcome.
