Come experience the allure of the Argentine Tango at The Music Hall Lounge as LILA Productions presents for the second time “Milonga!” an event that captures the essence of Tango through a master class and captivating choreographic dances by Alejandro Figliolo, LILA Dance Festival’s 2024 Guest Artist.
Hailing from Buenos Aires, Alejandro is celebrated as a distinguished Tango Dancer, Teacher, and Choreographer.
The show commences with a Tango masterclass led by Alejandro from 4pm-4:45pm, where audience members are invited to step onto the stage and participate in a brief class to learn the fundamental Tango steps, enhancing their connection to the art form.
The excitement doesn’t end there. At 5pm, “Milonga!” offers a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in a milonga, a traditional Tango social dance. Join performers on stage, feeling the pulse of the music and experiencing the essence of Argentine Tango firsthand. Enjoy excerpts choreographed by Alejandro and performed by the Lila Productions Dance Company throughout the performance.
