The offers that Target is giving during Circle Week is designed to go up against Amazon Prime Day. I’m sure other retailers will also announce their own summer shopping holidays to compete with Amazon’s own shopping holiday.
But let’s focus on Target Circle Week–when it is, what it is and how Mainers can benefit.
Target Circle Week offers
Target Circle Week offers run Sunday, July 9 through Saturday July 15.
I’m looking forward to seeing savings of up to 50% on food and beverage, beauty, everyday essentials, electronics and more.
Shopping options for Target Circle Week
All of these deals are in Target stores in Maine (and elsewhere) as well as online and on the Target app.
That means that when shopping from the app or online, you’ll have the option of doing Target Drive Up–my favorite way to shop at Target.

Drive Up and Order Pickup are usually ready as soon as two hours with no minimum purchase and no membership fee required.
In addition, you can choose Same-Day Delivery with Shipt in as soon as one hour. As always, you can get free shipping on orders of $35 or more or when using your Target RedCard.
Benefits of Target Circle
If I haven’t convinced you yet to sign up for Target Circle, here are additional benefits:
- Earning 1% rewards on non-RedCard purchases to use on future Target trips
- 5% off a shopping trip during your birthday month, as I mentioned earlier
- Chance to vote on where Target directs funds in their communities. You earn one vote with each qualifying Target trip
So far this year I’ve saved $6.59 on Target purchases from those aforementioned 1% rewards I earn with each purchase. Yeah, I know, that’s not a lot of money overall.
However, I’ll take whatever savings or cash back I can get. It’s why I continue to use the Rakuten cash back Chrome browser when shopping online, too.
Let me know if I can answer any questions you have about Target Circle Week or shopping at Target in general.
Target Circle partnerships
In this article about Ulta at Target, I wrote about how I was able to link my Ulta rewards program membership Ultamates with my Target Circl account. Well, it turns out that Ulta isn’t the only partnership that Target has that offers Circle members benefits.
For example, through September 5, Target Circle members can sign up for a free TripAdvisor Plus membershipp. Normally, that costs $99 a year.
Here are the other Target partnerships that bring benefits to Target Circle members:
- Apple Fitness+
- Apple TV+
- MLB Season Pass
- News+
- Apple Music
- Apple Arcade
- iCloud
